Description
Checkweighers are an invaluable tool for any processing or packaging operation where accurate weights are imperative for products heading to retail. Sending out pallets of product with too much or too little weight per pack can be disastrous for business and can result in huge additional cost for materials or masses of returned product that requires repacking. If you are running average weights and weighing products via a weighing machine or by hand, regulations state that a percentage of packs from each batch must be checked by a calibrated weighing machine to ensure that the weights in each pack are within the limits of the desired target weight. This process can be laborious and problematic and it’s not always easy for inexperienced operators to get their heads around. These days traceability is key and with one of our checkweighers in-line, you won’t need to worry about the sampling process any more. With an extremely simple setup process and ergonomic user interface, our checkweighers are designed to be reliable, yet simple to use even by the most novice of operators. They utilise a simple yet effective reject facility to ensure all overweight or underweight packs are rejected safely so they can be repacked as required.
